Finally we got to Disneyland in Hong Kong. It is only a 40 minute MTR ride from our apartment. It was magical until it got so hot we were ready to drop. The indoor shows saved us. I was brave and rode the fast rides with great gusto. We had a fun adventure there. Our favorite ride was gultch mine ride but we rode it at the end of the day so we only got to go once. Space Mountain was was also fun and we did do that twice.
Saturday August 31 we explored the Nan Lian Garden in Kowloon area. It was fun to have Uncle Graham with us. He taught us about the chinese letters and how they are symbols rather than letters. The gardens were peaceful in the center of a busy city. The air was thick with humidity so the camera lens was fogged up.
