Rick Emily Rachel and I flew into Phuket Thailand from Hong Kong on September 12, 2013. We arrived late in the night and into a down pour of rain. We were greeted by a very gentle kind hostess and taken to our room which was almost as big as our apartment in Hong Kong. The next day we woke to blue skies and a lovely view of the pool area. The first day we explored the resort and made the 10 minute walk to the beach and were pleased with what we found. We signed up for an afternoon elephant ride and found the little grocery market to get some snacking supplies.
That evening after a unique experience at the elephant park we ate a wonderful Thai dinner and then an ice cream treat at Swensen ice cream parlor.
